Our Trip to Northern New Hampshire
Today we went up to Ossipee, New Hampshire to visit Heather's grandfather for the day. Along the way, I took some pictures of some pretty amazing scenery. We had a great time with her grandfather. After we went sight seeing for a while we took him over to Cornish, Maine and ate at a Lobster pound there. The mountains were great, and the leaves were beautiful. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoyed taking them today.
A Day at the Beach
Last weekend we were able to spend time with Pete, Summer, Taylor and Christine (Taylor's girlfriend). On Sunday we went to Portsmouth and walked along the beach while Josiah and Grandpa had fun playing in the sand. After the beach we went to a Lobster pound there in Maine and ate some seafood. It was fun being able to spend time with everybody and finally meeting Christine.

Red Sox Win!!!
One thing I have really enjoyed while living here is the atmosphere surrounding the Red Sox and the Patriots. These people love their teams. The Red Sox won the pennant against the Yankees last night, and everybody is going nuts. I thought it would be cool to try to get tickets to a world series game, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen, since the tickets are starting to sell at 1500 dollars a piece (and that it for the bleacher seats in the outfield). Every single person you see has on some sort of Red Sox paraphanalia, and even if you have never met them before in your life all you have to say to get a conversation going is, "How 'bout them Red Sox." I have really enjoyed being caught up in the Red Sox nation culture. It is something I have not been able to experience being a Red Sox fan in Louisiana. Between this and the leaves changing here, it has been a great fall. I've posted some more pictures below of the leaves.
