Where we Live
It occured to me the other day when I was talking with Duane that I hadn't put any pictures of where we live. Here are some pictures of the view about a half mile from our house. I am going to get some pictures of the apartment and around town later so you guys can get an idea of where we live. As Pappaw and Mimi discovered, it is about a 14 hour drive from Louisiana, and it is about a 10 hour drive from New Hampshire. We are about 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Blue Ridge Mountain Range is beautiful. I will get some pictures up soon.
Pappaw & Mimi Come to Visit!
Pappaw and Mimi made the trek from Louisiana to Virginia to see Brooklyn. They got here on Sunday afternoon and left Wednesday morning. I got a couple pictures, but my camera was not cooperating while they were here. They got several pictures while they were here so we will try to get some copies from them to put on here also. Also got some pictures of Brooklyn in her LSU outfit. Enjoy!

Almost 2 weeks
Well, it has almost been two weeks. It is pretty apparent that Brooklyn is a lot less active than Josiah was, but she definitely still has attitude. She smiles alot and I am able to catch it on the camera every now and then. She is a good sleeper and only wakes up when she is hungry. Here are some more pics; got some with her and Josiah (big brother extroidinaire). Enjoy!

Happy Baby
Hey guys, Here are some new pictures. Brooklyn seems to be a very calm baby "fingers crossed". Got some pictures of her with her eyes open and smiling this morning so I thought I would throw them on here. She definitely has dimples whenever she smiles big. Hope you guys enjoy.

Happy Halloween
Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. I posted a few pictures of Josiah in his Spiderman costume. He is with a friend of his, Aidan, that lives in our apartment complex. They went trick or treating and had a blast. Enjoy the pics.
We're Home!
We were able to bring Heather and Brooklyn home yesterday around 2:00pm. We made it through the first night great...she was only up a few times to feed and that was it. She seems to be very content as long as she is feeding or resting. Can't tell yet if she is going to be as hyper as Josiah, I guess only time will tell. Nana has been able to get some good cuddling time in...I can't wait for everyone else to see her. I'll get more pics up as soon as I get them.

Heart Beat
It was pretty amazing to be able to see the baby's heart beat. 8 weeks and 5 days and we can already see it. We got some more pictures for you guys to look at. If you look closely...and I do mean closely, the Dr. labeled where the baby was and where the heart was. Our next ultrasound should be on the 18th week and we should be able to know whether it is a boy or a girl then. We will keep you guys updated. I know Debbie is planning on coming down in a couple weeks, and we look forward to seeing her.

A New Arrival
I think everyone knows by now, but just in case, Heather is pregnant. We found out about three weeks ago. They are saying that the baby's due date will be around the end of October. They took the first pictures the other day, so we wanted to share them with all of you. Enjoy, and I will be sure to keep you updated as things go along. In case you are wondering, the dark spot on the left, is the baby. He or she is not even a centimeter long yet when this picture is taken. Love you guys!

Happy Valentines Day!
Hope everyone has a Happy Valentines Day! Heather and I are going on the marriage retreat this weekend. We are really looking forward to it. It is up at Lake Degray in Arkansas. Last time we went it snowed, and we saw some bald eagles that were nesting on the lake there. It was quite breath taking. The whole weekend is a lot of fun. Josiah and mom made heart cookies for his Valentine's party at Gee's house tomorrow. He is looking forward to it. Nana and Grandpa are coming down this weekend! We are going to pick them up from the airport tomorrow night. They are going to take care of Josiah while we are at the marriage retreat. It is crawfish season so we will have to go tryout some of the Louisiana cuisine. I know Al will enjoy that. Enjoy the pictures!
